But then again, for which side would such a condemnation be a gift - Moscow or Israel itself? As for the U.S., the reports about American plans to deploy missile defense systems in Bulgaria and Romania appeared immediately prior to Benjamin Netanyahu"s visit to Moscow. Interestingly, there were rumors earlier that if Washington were to abandon the missile defense plans, Moscow would reciprocate by going along with the U.S. against Iran...It is possible that the U.S. and Israeli leaders simply have not coordinated their actions: Obama and Netanyahu have also not made it a secret that there is little love lost between them.
